I don’t know what it is, but when I photograph kids other than my own, it’s great! Yes, kids will be kids, and are sometimes uncooperative- but my kids take the cake!
All I wanted was 20 minutes to get a great image of all three together. Is that too much to ask? All I got was, “she’s touching me- I don’t want her touching me!!”, and my youngest was just a grouch. Yikes, I even threatened to not go to the zoo with her tomorrow (as I am the chaperone-she probably knew I wasn’t actually going to bail on that one!).
So, this is what I got…
Okay, two of them are fine and then the littlest takes on attitude. Then I thought I would try them by themselves…
This is a Connor look for sure. He is such an awesome kid. I have never seen any kid so determined to make sure he doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings- He is so genuine. You can see it in his eyes.
Claire is a beauty. Just look into those eyes and you can truly see her soul!
Mia, Mia, Mia. Was a grouchy and then……
She broke out her signature Mia- of course!!
And then the Party started!! It was all over for the “all three together” image I was envisioning–
but they are mine and I love them all–cooperative or not!!

Meet “Fawkes”(yes,the name comes from the Phoenix in Harry Potter)
He is a cinnamon pearl baby cockatiel. I’m just wondering when he and the cat will be friends…they apparently cannot share the same room or there is lots of screaming!! Gotta love CHAOS!!!LOL!!

This next session was super fun. I have known Nick and Ashley for a long time. Ashley since she was born. Wow, time flies!!

Anyway, it has been a crazy busy summer and I have sooo much to share. I don’t even know where to start.
Oh, My friend Ellen did have her baby boy and his name is Adam. I was going for Jack- so I could call him Jack-Jack like on the Incredibles, but they weren’t going for it. Anyway, he is very cute.

Well, this next session started as an engagement session and then….
this little one showed up!! I couldn’t help myself- the curls, the eyes just, WOW!! Too adorable for words. Can you blame me? I think not.
So, I guess this means I’m back. I have tons more to share, so definitely stay tuned.
okay,okay!!! I’m going crazy!! I had a party for my friend who turned 40 and now just had a bouncing baby boy (I guessed right!)!! This will be her 4th!!! I’m not sure I’m as brave, but I will gladly take him to cuddle. Anyway, I have several sessions I have to share!! But do check back, because that baby boy will surely be on this post.

Now, we have little man S. I took images of his momma when she was pregnant! He took a little time to warm up, but the key was our dog Cody!! S just thought he was the funniest thing!
